Katie is a Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate, specializing in individual and group based interventions for adolescents, couples, families and adults. Katie primarily works with clients who identify as neurodivergent, and young adults who are navigating their path into adulthood. Her therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a more humanitarian emphasis to address a variety of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, social issues and other neurological differences.
Katie's work focuses on helping clients realize their strengths and develop life skills that promote independent living and increased self-esteem. She believes in taking a collaborative approach with her clients as they are the experts in their own life experiences. She's passionate about helping clients understand how being neurodivergent or having a unique life story can be used as an asset in developing a strong sense of self and a reliable community.
Katie believes that those who seek to discuss and improve their mental health are destined to unravel a more peaceful existence.
