Consultation
Sometimes, a brief consultation is all you need. Designed for families seeking clarification or treatment recommendations, our consultations, available in-person or virtually, offer focused guidance without the depth of comprehensive assessments.
Coaching
Sometimes our clients have goals that necessitate skill building not related to traditional counseling or psychotherapy. Coaching services may be provided depending on specific goals set.
School Advocacy
Navigating the education system can be complex. Our School Advocacy services provide expert guidance for parents. From attending ARD or 504 meetings to interpreting education plans, our experienced team may help ensure your child's needs are met within both public and private school settings. Let us navigate and advocate for your child's educational needs.
Customized Therapies
Individual Therapy
Evidenced-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) are modified to best address the anxiety and depression that commonly occur with neurodivergence. We also combine and use various methods, such as behavioral strategies, cognitive strategies, assertive communication, adaptive living, and social skills training, to effectively improve academic, social, and occupational functioning and overall quality of life. We serve clientele with or without a diagnosis.
Family Counseling
Neurodivergence and other psychological disorders impact not just an individual, but his/her/their loved ones as well. Couples and family therapy is offered to help impact systemic issues such as communication, collaboration, and relationship building. Evidenced based treatments such as solution-focused brief family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family systems therapy help families support one another and improve quality of life.
Parent Training and Support
Children with social, behavioral, and emotional difficulties often leave parents facing unique and unforeseen challenges. Parent coaching and parent support is offered in individual and group formats, to help provide guidance and strategies with issues such as behavioral management, behavioral plans, emotional regulation, and more. In a group context, parents can meet other parents facing similar challenges and learn from one another as well as a supportive group facilitator.
Neurodivergent Couples
Challenges such as miscommunication, struggles with expressing emotions, and variations in sensory sensitivities can impose strains on these partnerships. Rather than seeking to correct neurological differences, the emphasis lies in comprehending and embracing them. Through this approach, couples can cultivate a supportive and enriching environment that nurtures the unique strengths and perspectives of each individual in the relationship.
