The initial intake appointment is called a psychiatric interview and is 75 minutes (CPT code 90791). We ask if we can be provided with the most recent and relevant evaluations, if any.
As part of your team, we will establish goals on the outset of therapy and continue to measure our progress towards those goals every session. Therapy sessions are usually 45 minutes (CPT 90834) a week but can be longer if needed (CPT 90837).

A team member will call to schedule your first two appointments. A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required upon scheduling.

A team member will call you back within 2 business days and get you scheduled for a mandatory group intake. If the client has been seen at SPECTRA before, this is waived.
A 30 to 45-minute group intake session will help to determine if our groups are a good match for you / your child and vice versa. Your name will be added to our group database. Most groups run 3 times a year.
Most groups run 3 times a year and are 12 weeks in length. All groups meet once a week, except for weeks of major holidays, and depending on age each group lasts 45 - 75 minutes. (CPT code 90853). We suggest not starting a group that you / your child may miss more than 2 sessions.
Throughout the group sessions, direct feedback will be provided. A group party concludes most groups. Repeating groups or advancing to the next group are the next options.
