With over 20 years of experience working with people of all ages in hospital, school, home health, and private clinic settings, Michelle has extensive experience in prevention, assessment, and treatment of children, teenagers, and adults with articulation, language, fluency, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.  Skilled at working with anxiety, stress, and perspective taking.  She has specialized in middle and high school social skills development and training, including instruction for parents, teachers, and district therapists.  Michelle is passionate about taking a holistic approach to therapy, truly understanding where families and clients are coming from, allowing a deeper connection and bridge to overall healing.

Long-term sub, Pre-K-12, district wide.  Specialized in social therapy, parent, therapist, and teacher training.  Traveled to different campuses to train SLPs on social skills therapy.  Worked closely with teachers in self-contained classrooms at middle and high school level to educate on sensory processing awareness, cognitive processing time, and goal setting.
