Melissa Reid PHD, LP, LSSP

Melissa Reid, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology. She completed her doctoral degree in School Psychology with a graduate specialization in Counseling at The Pennsylvania State University, and her internship and postdoctoral training at Lewisville Independent School District.

Dr. Reid has been employed in Texas Public School Districts as a Psychologist/LSSP for the last 6 years. She has extensive experience completing evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorders with children between the ages of 2 and 18 years, serving as an Autism Evaluation Specialist in the schools for 4 years time, and is actively involved in research regarding best practices in Autism Evaluations.

Dr. Reid has a passion for working with individuals with ASDs and their families through evaluation, skill-building groups, individual and family counseling, and parent training. In addition, she enjoys conducting evaluations, therapy, skill-building groups, and parent training for children, adolescents, and young adults with Learning Disabilities, Mood and Adjustment Disorders, ADHD, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder and their families.

With her background working in the public schools, Dr. Reid is well equipped to provide school consultation and collaboration support.
