I received my Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and Addiction Studies from Northwestern State. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, where I have completed the coursework and am currently finishing my clinical sequence in the program. I have experience in a school district working in the Special Education programs and have received my Registered Behavior Technician certification which has allowed me to provide behavioral therapy to individuals with Autism. I have experience working in a private ABA clinic as an Assistant Clinical Supervisor where I established and implemented social skills curriculum for both pre-teens and teenagers. My coursework and training has prepared me to work with individuals, families, and groups with specializations in Play Therapy and Adolescent Counseling. My life has positively changed by these resilient and strong individuals. I enjoy working and learning alongside my clients. I strive daily to help others find healthy and positive ways to cope and grow, while not sacrificing but rather recognizing and appreciating the uniqueness and individuality within us all.
